St. Vincent Liêm Biography
St. Vincent Liêm was born to the Tonkinese nobility and studied in the Philippines. He then joined the Dominicans in 1753 making his profession in 1754. Vincent was ordained in 1758 and returned to Tonkin in January 1759 where he was on a mission. He was imprisoned for preaching Christianity and to prisoners and killed in the persecutions of Trinh Sam.
