She was arrested, killed and died as a martyr in 270 AD in Sora, Italy during Christian persecutions in the reign of Roman Emperor Aurelian.

We celebrate her feast day on May 27 every year in the Catholic Church.

St Restituta of Sora Life History

Restituta was a Christian who hailed from a noble family in Rome Italy. Together with several other Christians, she fled Rome and went to Sora, Italy during Christian persecutions in the reign of Roman Emperor Aurelian.

Along the way, they were captured, killed, and died as martyrs for their faith. Restituta was buried at the 16-mile marker of the Via Noemntana outside Rome, Italy.
