Bl. Helen Enselmini Biography
Bl. Helen Enselmini became a Poor Clare nun at age 12 receiving a veil from Saint Francis of Assisi. She had the gift of inedia, living off the Eucharist for months. However, her health suffered in adulthood and she became blind and mute by the time of her death.
