Blessed Hippolytus was born in 1565 AD at Florence, Italy. He was a Galantini Silk-weaver. From the age of twelve, he assisted priests in teaching children their catechism. And as an adult, he formed the congregation of Italian Doctrinarians, who taught children catechism.
