Marie Rouault épouse Bouju was born on 26 October 1744 in Vezins, Maine-et-Loire, France. She was later married and joined the church to serve as a Laywoman from the diocese of Angers, France. Later on 1 February 1794, she was among the forty-seven martyrs in the persecutions of the French Revolution.
