Blessed’s Biography
Blessed Angelo Carletti was born around 1410 in Chivasso Italy. He studied law in Bologna and graduated in civil and church law. He visits the sick. But when his mother died, he left everything and joined the 30-year-old in 1441 to the Franciscan monk.
Blessed Angelo Carletti changed his name to Brother Angelo and gave his wealth to the poor. After his priesthood, he taught for a while and was then sent to the remote mountain areas to preach to the villagers there. He developed a special bond with the community. He helped the poor both spiritually and materially.
Death
Angelo Carletti died on April 11 1495 in Cuneo, Italy of natural causes.
