Saint’s Biography
Saint Celsus of Armagh was born in Ireland in 1080 AD. He Traveled throughout Ireland, preaching reform and ensuring discipline.
Cellach of Armagh Work
Saint Celsus help align the Irish church administration with the rest of Europe. Saint Celsus brought peace between warring Irish kings and chieftains and worked with them. Armagh cathedral was rebuilt by Cellach of Armagh and also established monastery of Kells.
Cellach of Armagh Death
Saint Celsus died on April 1, 1129, and was buried in Lismore on April 3.
