St Acacius Agathangelos of Melitene Bishop of Hither, Asia. He was arrested in the persecutions of Decius and brought before the imperial tribunal for the crimes of Christianity and refusing to sacrifice to idols. Acacius defense of the faith so impressed the judges that they set him free.
