St Renovatus of Merida Biography
St Renovatus of Merida was born in the late 6th century. He was an Arian heretic who converted to orthodox Christianity. He was also a Monk and then the head of the monks of Cauliana monastery in Lusitania (in modern Portugal). Renovatus also was the Bishop of Merida, Spain for 22 years.
