Saint’s Biography
Saint Adelelmus of Le Mans was born in Flanders. He became a disciple and friend of the hermit Albert in the region around Le Mans, but left Saint Bernard of Tiron on Chaussey in the Channel Islands. He returned to Albert.
When Albert died, Adelelmus, with the help of the Count of Beaumont, founded a monastery in the Charnie forest.
Death
He died on April 27 1152 of natural causes.
