Saint Agnes of Poitiers was a nun and abbess of the Monastery of the Holy Cross in France, where he was assigned by Saint Radegund. Agnes set down a rule given to her by St Caesar of Arles. Friend of the poet Saint Venantius Fortunatus. She died in 588 of natural causes.
