St. Anna the Prophetess Biography
Anna the Prophetess was the daughter of Phanuel. She was married at age 14 and widowed at age 21. At age 72 given the responsibility of caring for the Blessed Virgin Mary at the Temple from her presentation at three years until she was betrothed to Joseph.
She was in attendance when Jesus was presented at the Temple. She was the only woman in the Temple who greeted Jesus.
