St. Bartholomew of Rossano Biography
St. Bartholomew of Rossano was the son of Greek immigrants to Italy. He was a spiritual student of St. Nilus of Rossano. Bartholomew became a monk at the monastery of Grottaferrata, Frascati, Italy. Later, he served as its abbot for 40 years completing its construction and other work started by Nilus.
