Saint Ardalion the Actor
St. Ardalion, an actor renowned for his performances mocking Christianity, gained significant popularity among pagan viewers.
However, during one of his acts in Asia Minor, he surprisingly declared that he had converted to Christianity. As a result of his steadfast faith, he was martyred by being burned alive in Asia Minor in the year 300 AD.
Saint Antony of Vilna
St. Antony of Vilna, who was also known as Antona, held an official position at the Grand Duke of Lithuania’s court.
He, along with St John of Vilna and St. Eustace of Vilna, was martyred for their refusal to consume meat on a day of abstinence. In 1342, he was crucified and later became the patron saint of Vilna, Lithuania.
Saint Lambert of Lyon
St. Lambert of Lyon, who originated from northern France, spent his early life in the court of Clotaire III and later became a Benedictine monk at Fontenelle Abbey, where he collaborated with St. Wandrille.
He was appointed as the abbot of Fontenelle in 666 AD, and later became the bishop of Lyon, France in 678 AD. He died in 688 AD.
