Saint’s Biography
Saint Cronan of Roscrea spent his youth in Connaught, Ireland. In 610 AD Croman returned to his native district and founded several monasteries including in Roscrea. Croman served as the house’s first abbot and established a famous school.
Death
Croman died in 626 of natural causes in Ireland.
