Saint’s Biography

Saint Glyceria of Trajanopolis was a Roman Virgin in Trajanopolis in Greece and the daughter of a Roman senator. Glyceria was arrested for Christ’s sake during the persecutions of emperor Antoninus and the governor Sabinus. She destroyed a statue of Jupiter before she was imprisoned, tortured and killed in 177 AD.
