Saint John Sergius
St. John Sergius, also recognized as John of Mar Sabas, was a monk who resided at the hermitage abbey called Saint Sabas’, located near Jerusalem.
He, along with 20 other monks, were martyred during an Arab assault against Christians, which resulted in many injuries and some escapees.
Stephen, one of the survivors, composed a poem in honor of the group recognized as the Martyrs of Mar Sabas. St. John Sergius passed away in the year 796 AD.
Saint Remigius of Strasbourg
St. Remigius of Strasbourg, also called Remi or Remidius, was born into a noble family as the son of Hugh of Alsace and was related to St. Odilia of Hohenburg.
He served as an abbot at Münster near Colmar, France, and later became a bishop at Strasbourg, France in 776 AD. Unfortunately, he passed away in 783 AD.
Saint Anastasius XVI
St. Anastasius XVI, who was also referred to as Anastasius of Jerusalem or Anastasius of Saint Sabas, was a monk and archimandrite at St. Sabas Abbey situated in Jerusalem.
Alongside his brothers, he was killed in an assault by a group of robbers in the year 797 AD.
Martyrs of San Sabas
The group known as the Martyrs of San Sabas consisted of twenty monks who were martyred together in their monastery located in Palestine.
They were killed by invading Saracens and died in the year 797 AD when they were burned inside the San Sabas monastery.
Saint Nicetas of Apollonias
St. Nicetas of Apollonias was a bishop who served in the region of Apollonias situated in Bithynia, which is present-day Turkey.
He faced persecution and was banished to Anatolia as a result of his opposition to the iconoclasm of Emperor Leo III.
Saint Urbitius of Metz
St. Urbitius of Metz served as the bishop of Metz, France. He constructed a church in tribute to St. Felix of Nola, which was later integrated into the St. Clement monastery.
St. Urbitius passed away in the year 420 AD.
Saint Tertricus of Langres
St. Tetricus of Langres was the son of St. Gregory of Langres and the uncle of St. Gregory of Tours.
He served as the bishop of Langres, which is situated in France, in the year 540 AD. St. Tetricus died in 572 AD.

St. Benignus of Flay also recognized as Benignus of Fontenelle, was a monk who served as an abbot at Fontenelle and Flay, both situated in France. He died in the year 725 AD.

The martyrs of Amisus were a group of Christian women martyred together in the persecutions of Diocletian. They were burned to death in 300 AD in Amisus, Paphlagonia (modern Samsun, Turkiye).
