Saint’s Biography
Saint Miguel de Sanctis was born on September 29, 1591, in Catalonia, Spain. St. Francis of Assisi inspired him and told his parents he considered becoming Franciscans. Miguel was orphaned at a young and decided to the merchant.
In 1603, he entered the convent of the Order of the Holy Trinity in Barcelona at age 12. Miguel took his vows in the monastery of St. Lambert in Zaragoza on September 5, 1607, and then took the name Michael de Sanctis.

He died on April 10 1625 at Valladolid, Spain of natural causes.
