St Peter Regalatus Biography
St Peter Regalatus was born in 1390 at Valladolid, Spain. He was born to a wealthy, pious and a noble family. His father died when he was very young. He tried to join the Franciscans when he was only ten years old. Peter was educated in a Franciscan convent in Valladolid, Spain from the age of 13. He became the Disciple of Peter de Villacreces in 1404 AD. He was also a Franciscan priest.
St Peter was the superior of the convent at Aguilera in 1415 AD. He was also the superior of the convent at Tribulus in 1422 AD. He was also a noted reformer, primarily by setting a good and pious example. Peter observed nine personal Lenten periods a year. Had the gifts of bi-location, prophecy, and miracle-working.
Peter’s Death
He died on 30 March 1456 AD at Aguilera, Spain. His death was due to natural causes. when exhumed in 1782 AD, his body was found incorrupt.
