Biography
Saint Berthevin of Lisieux, a priest in the ward of Bayeaux, France. During the Norman intrusions, Berthevin fled to Laval, France where he progressed toward becoming guide to the offspring of the Count of Laval, and a squire and consultant to the count. A devout and prudent man, Berthevin invested his free energy examining and in petition, once in a while at a close-by lake, here and there in the congregation of Saint Nicolas close Mayenne, France. His religious energy meddled with the common methods for a portion of the individuals from the check’s court – so they killed him. A martyr. The towns of Saint-Berthevin and Saint-Berthevin-la-Tannière in France are named in his respect.
