Saint’s Biography
Saint Theodora of Alexandria was a woman who refused to sacrifice to idols during the persecutions of Diocletian. Theodora claimed that she was wed to God. The anti–Christian governor Eustratius ordered that Theodora be turned over to a house of prostitution. There Saint Didymus changed clothes with her so she could escape. She was later re-captured and executed. Martyr.
