Saint Torquatus of Guadix was the first-century spiritual student of the Apostles and one of the first groups of missionaries to Spain. Bishop of Guadix.
Death
He died in the early 2nd century and buried in Guadix, Spain. His remain were moved to the church of San Torquato in the early 8th century ahead of Muslim invasion.
