St. Vaast of Arras Biography
St. Vaast of Arras was a hermit who worked with Saint Remigius to convert the Franks. He became a priest who directed King Clovis to the faith.
Later, he became the first Bishop of Arras, France in 499AD and later transferred to be the Bishop of Cambrai, France in 510 AD. On the night he died, the villagers saw a luminous cloud ascend from his house.
