Blessed’s Biography

Blessed Ralph Ashley worked as cook at Douay College. On April 28 1590 entered English College at Valladolid and became Jesuit lay brother.

Health problems force him to live Collage and return to England. Ralph Ashley return was delayed because he was captured by Dutch heretics. Finally, he landed in England on March 9 1598. He was accused to be connected with the Gunpowder Plot and hiding priest (Blessed Edward Oldcorne).

He was hanged, drawn, and quartered on April 7 1607 in England.
