Saint’s Biography
Saint Mildgytha was born in the 600s in England as the daughter of King Merewalh (notorious king) and his second wife, Saint Ebbe in Thanet, Princess of Kent. Mildgytha’s siblings were St. Milburga and St. Mildred of Thanet. Benedictine nun, receiving the veil from her mother in Minster on the Isle of Thanet. Abbess of a Northumbrian convent.
