St Agatha Yi So-Sa was a married lay woman in the apostolic vicariate of Korea. She was born in 1784 in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. She is one of the Martyrs of Korea who were imprisoned and beheaded on May 24 1839 at the Small West Gate, Seoul, South Korea together for the crime of being Christians. We celebrate her feast day on May 24 every year in the Catholic Church.
