Saint’s Biography
Saint Alexander of Goman was a monk and an abbot. He founded the Acremetre. Alexander converted St. Rabulas, the governor of Edessa. His work didn’t stop there as he also converted thirty robbers and turned their cave into a monastery in the Desert. Alexander founded a monastery on the Euphrates. He settled with 300 monks in Gomon, Bithynia, and divided them into six choirs to sing the Divine Office so it could continue day and night.
