St Petrus Kwon Tug-In was a married layman in the apostolic vicariate of Korea. He was born in 1805 AD in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. He is one of the Martyrs of Korea who were imprisoned and beheaded on May 24 1839 at the Small West Gate, Seoul, South Korea together for the crime of being Christians. We celebrate his feast day on May 24 every year in the Catholic Church.
