St Rogatian of Nantes was the brother of St Donatian of Nantes who hailed from a Roman-Gallo noble family of Nantes, France in the 3rd century AD.

Because of his Christian faith, he was arrested, tortured, mutilated, beheaded, and died as a martyr in 299 AD in Nantes, Brittany, France during Christian persecutions in the reign of Roman Emperor Diocletian (Gaius Aurelius Valerius Diocletianus).

We celebrate his feast day on May 24 every year in the Catholic Church.
